YaJuG General Assembly

YaJuG‘s next General Assembly will be hosted at Espace Reunion, Leudelange on December the 14th.
YaJuG will welcome David Delabassee, Oracle‘s Java Ambassador for the region and JavaOne speaker. David will do a recap of the recent changes around the various Java platforms. Then, to follow YaJuG’s tradition, we will have some fun with electronic devices programmation – David will make you discover the world of Arduino. Registration is now open ! |

Tonight, Luxembourg’s Java User Group (YaJuG) will host it’s third 2010 conference. Theme for tonight is “Cloud Computing”. It is not too late to register.

Cloud Conference for Java Developers

Next week, Wednesday, 30th the Luxembourg Java User group (YaJuG) will organize a conference : “The Cloud for Java Developers”.
With speakers talking about Amazon Web Service, Google App Engine and SalesForce.com platform, this conference will bring you insights the various major cloud platform types : Infrastructure, Platform or Software as a Service.

JavaFX presentations and demo during our last JUG meeting

A couple of days ago, the Luxembourg Java User Group – YaJuG – and the Lorraine JUG held a last meeting before the holiday season. They invited Simon Ritter and myself to talk about ademo JavaFX.
The meeting was organized on a boat (une péniche) usually dedicated for theatre performances.
The slides are now posted on YaJuG’s web site while Lorraine JUG posted some pictures on Picassa.
French local newspaper "Le Républicain Lorrain" wrote a short paper about this and even sent a photograph for the occasion (lower left of the page, in french !).

Luxembourg Java User Group – Fun with Lego, Wii and Bluetooth
