Hello Patrick, I am sorry for your problems. These are due to a recent Twitter API change. I have modify iTweetMyTunes to adapt to the new Twitter API and submitted the update to Apple on Oct 14th. Tomorrow, it will be two weeks that the update is waiting for Apple to review it. Usually upadtes are approved within the week. I don’t know why it takes a longer time now.
When the update will be published, it will appears in you App Store App and should restore functionality.
You can follow @itweetmytunes on Twitter for status update.

All my apologies for the problem, the fix is there, we are all waiting for Apple to push it to you.

    Seb

Be sure to install v3.2 available on the app store since a couple of days.
Version 3.1 and before are not working anymore due to a change on Twitter’s side.

    Hope this helps

Yes, the problem is fixed with iTweetMyTunes v3.3
In january, we released iTweetmyTunes v4.0 which now integrate with OS X Twitter account in Mountain Lion – to definitively avoid this type of issue in the future. You will need OS X 10.8 (aka Mountain Lion) to get this update.

I just purchased this app and I wish I had read about the problems prior because it is not working at all. The wheel just keeps spinning in the Twitter account screen. I have Mountain Lion 10.8.2. What do I need to do to resolve this issue?

Hi Sebastian, how can I remove twitter accounts from the app? It seems every restart of my computer makes the app choose the wrong twitter account (I have several), thanks. Steve

    Hello Steve,
The Preferences window displays every Twitter accounts available on your system. The one selected (i.e. with a blue background) is the one selected to post tweets.

When I run the app, click preferences and then click: Twitter Account … nothing happens, it just show that waiting animation. Am I missing something?

I am running Mountain Lion (updated from Lion with a clean install – all worked fine in Lion, though).

I have changed my username on Twitter; however, I can not tweet from you app, and I’m assuming because the log-in information is different. How do I update my new Twitter info within your app?

  16. #16 by Sébastien Stormacq on 30/10/2013 - 08:38

    Hello Tashez,

iTweetMyTunes uses OS X Native Twitter credentials. To change your account, go the Mac OS X System Preferences -> Internet Accounts

Let me know if it helped

Worked great until one day recently when it simply stopped, app ceases to function at all, the only way I can close it is to restart my Mac.
